John says that we should be like Jesus and do the things that Jesus REALLY did: to deny self, to take up our cross, to die, to have our own personal Holy Spirit resurrection and to wait with anticipation the day of our ascension. And in-between our resurrection and ascension, to change the world, with love and humility.
