Lord of the Breakthrough
The area of breakthrough is one that we struggle with, because often disappointment shouts louder and sticks in our minds more prominently then other emotions.
Our struggle I think is identified threefold and goes hand in hand with the subject of unanswered prayer...
1.there seems to be no breakthrough
2.the breakthrough isn't happening quick enough
3.the breakthrough isn't happening in the way I expected or want it to.

Fasting.Giving.Saying sorry. Saying I Forgive you.Maybe the Lord will identify an area of pride in or lives or un-confessed sin or other stronghold.
Using the story of Joshua marching around the walls of Jericho, Joel picks out five keys that allowed Joshua to see breakthrough:
1. We look to Jesus
2. We believe in His promises
3. We obey what He tells us to do
4. We make the name of Jesus our battle cry
5. Above all things we have faith in God
