Longing for Elsewhere
Guest Speaker Matt Seymour speaks on a sermon entitled "longing for elsewhere".
Matt explains that if we search for our satisfaction in anything other than God, we only find ourselves longing for the next thing to come along, a job, a relationship, moving or a promotion. When these events in our lives finally arrive we only find ourselves disappointed with the outcome and continue longing for the next thing, this becomes a vicious circle that only ends up wasting our whole lives in disappointment. Matt encourages us instead to long for God.
