Jesus overcomes opponents to bring good news

Mark 3.1 - 12
Charlie Fadipe looks at Mark 3:1-12 where we find the story of Jesus healing the man with the withered hand. Jesus overcomes the opposition that is the Pharisees by healing on the Sabbath despite their disapproval. Jesus asks the question "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?", Jesus prioritises grace over the tradition of man.
Charlie explains that religion is an endless check-list of rules that attempts to make us acceptable to God, however none of us are even capable of getting anywhere near completing this check-list. Jesus came that we might no longer have to tick boxes, but live under his grace.
