Darlene Zschech Interview

In this talk, Nicky Gumbel interviews Singer/Songwriter and Church leader Darlene Zschech.

Darlene Zschech talks about her personal upbringing and her family struggles as a child.

Darlene Zschech goes on to talk about her move through churchmanship, from youth pastor to worship leader to church leader and justice advocate.

She goes on to talk about the drive and definition of and for worship in her own life, and for that of the church. In addition to this, Darlene talks about how her song "My Jesus My Saviour (Shout to the Lord)" was used on the American Idol show in the States.

Darlene overseas a charity in Africa and has recently written on the subject of mentoring.

Darlene Zschech encourages the listen to thank God for whatever situation God has placed them in.  To keep praising God, to make a choice to serve and to lead.  To daily lay down their lives.  To keep humble and dream big, trusting God in all things.

She is the former worship pastor of Hillsong Church and is currently a member of Compassionart, a charity founded by Martin Smith.[1]
