Purposeful Purity

What is it to be 'pure in heart'? To be clean. Made new. Free from sin, depravity, contamination. For every thought, word and deed to be worthy of the gospel. What is the purpose? To see God! To stand before him as his loved child, joyful in the knowledge that he has completed a great work in you. So, with this vaguely ridiculous alliterated title, I want to blog in a way that worships God, encourages my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and keeps myself to account in the knowledge of what God has done for me through his son, Jesus Christ. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Our best estate is tossed about
In ceaseless ebb and flow.
No mood of feeling, form of thought
Is constant for a day;
But thou, 0 Lord, thou changest not:
The same thou art alway.
