Ten Christian Clichés to Avoid


As Christians, we can easily fall into the trap of using terminology or clichés that sound alien or even judgemental to others.
One author named Christian Piatt passionately discusses ten clichés he's noticed other Christians using. These include phrases such as:
- 'Everything happens for a reason.'
- 'Have you asked Jesus into your heart?' and
- 'He/she is in a better place.'

However, some of the included phrases arguably have biblical backing. What do you think? Is there a place for using any of the 'cliches' he's attacked?
