PlayStation Part of Cathedral Worship

Technology is advancing more rapidly than ever before. As a church,we can remain culturally relevant by using the latest technology where appropriate.
Exeter Cathedral are planning to do this in a radical way on Sunday, 13th May at 7pm. The PlayStation3 game, Flower, will be played by the congregation as part of the Sunday service. Andy Robertson, who came up with the idea, said he found the game a 'spiritual experience.'
The idea is that the controller will be passed around during the worship, and then concluded as the game's first level is complete.
Andy says that the video game is an excellent tool to help express our faith. It is 'inclusive' and brings in themes such as creation, the natural world and how we treat the earth.
