'Knit and Natter' Church

A group of enthusiastic knitters in Merseyside have formed a 'fresh expressions' church. Every week around 30 to 40 members come together to knit clothing for charity, have a devotional time and share prayer requests. At the centre of the room a cross is placed on the table, with a knitted blanket covering it.
Chris Crowder, who helped found the group, said that many of its members view Knit and Natter as their church. Its community and focus on God creates a sense of spiritual unity.
Are you part of a similar group, looking to break the boundaries of 'traditional' church?
