Inspiring Ideas to End Slavery
Looking for inspiration or ideas to fight against human trafficking? The fact that approximately 27 million people are in forced labour today can overwhelm us. Yet we can all do something - Anti-trafficking charity The A21 Campaign have featured three examples of young people making a difference.
The one that most captured my attention was the efforts of 13 year old Lily:
After a talk in church about trafficking, Lily mixed, swirled and sprinkled for her bake sale. Placing her cupcakes in floral cases, she raised an astonishing £500! If you're an animal lover here's another idea - she runs a pet-sitting business and gives all the profit to The A21 Campaign.
Perhaps you too could use your talents to fight for justice.
