Gaza Kidnapping

Yesterday Christians in the Gaza strip staged a protest against the mistreatment of fellow Christian Ramiz al-Amash. They said he was being forced to convert to Islam and when he refused, was kidnapped by armed men.
According to Greek Orthodox Archbishop Alexis, this is a common occurrence in Gaza. Despite appealing to the police for help, his family were given no support.
Last year Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that both Christians and Muslims have 'one goal and common destiny.'
The Archbishop, however, is pleading with the government to prevent these abductions.
