Fife churchgoers attempt to read the Bible in a week
A group of Fife parishioners have launched their bid to become the first in Scotland to read the entire Bible in a week.
Churchgoers at Largo and Newburn Parish Church, and Largo St David's, in Largo, are attempting to read all 66 books of the "word of God".
It comprises 1,189 chapters and more than 31,000 verses.
Although the feat has been achieved in a long weekend in England, it is the first such effort north of the Border...
