Facebook and Google told to block Religiously Offensive content

Google and Facebook have been ordered to remove content from some of their Indian domain websites in order to protect 'religious sensibilities'. The order requires them (and 21 other companies) to block material which is considered to be religiously offensive to Jesus, the Prophet Mohammed and other various Hindu gods and goddesses.
In previous months both companies said that it would not be possible for them to block content, but it would seem that after pressure from the courts the companies have now managed to make the impossible possible and have adhered to the courts requests. Google declined to comment on what had been removed and Facebook said it would issue a statement at a later date.
