Church Confidence Grows

Just as Britain has gained confidence through a spectacular Olympic Games, so have churches across the country. David Willson, CEO of More Than Gold, says that events put on by churches during the games have been met with widespread support. 'Time after time they have experienced outstanding success' Willson says, after hearing feedback.
Incredibly passionate about seeing churches reach out in a sports context - and having attended the past five Summer and Winter Olympic games - he can speak with authority on the subject.
Churches have formed new relationships with each-other by working together, and many are hopeful that these links will continue into the future.
With the Paralympic Games approaching, Willson says it's not too late for churches to get involved - 'This could be the greatest legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games for the churches.'
