Christians can Cooperate with Muslims

In an inter-faith event at St James' Church in Piccadilly, London, HRH Princess Badiya Bint El-Hassan of Jordan appeared as guest speaker. The Princess promotes inter-faith and cross cultural understanding.
In her talk, she stressed that Christians and Muslims must go beyond coexistence and start working together.
The message of both religions, she said, is that 'God has given us this wonderful world' and has 'instructed us' to take care of it and each other. The central point is that we should 'do good,' she emphasized.
Since members of both faith groups are asked to take care of the vulnerable in our societies and the environment we live in, she said, it's much more 'efficient' if we cooperate and do it together.
Princess Badiya 'vehemently' disputed the opinion that Muslims must be in conflict with Christians.
Despite differences, she stated that we share the most important thing, belief in an 'all-powerful' God which leads to our practical expression of compassion.
