Cameron Backs Christ
In an Easter message, David Cameron has expressed admiration for Jesus Christ and applauded His character. The Prime Minister said that Christian teaching can help us instill the values needed for a ‘happier and better’ society.
Describing Jesus as a man of ‘incomparable compassion, generosity, grace, humility and love,’ Cameron said that everyone can share in these values.
The Church of England has ‘welcomed’ the message, whilst Mohammed Shafiq of the Ramadan Foundation admired the Prime Minister’s faith.
