Archbishop Defends Kenyans


Can you remember the Mau Mau Uprising in Kenya? It took place during the 1950s and had a damaging impact on the relationship between the British and Kenyan people.
Today, three elderly Kenyans are seeking an apology and a welfare fund from the British Government.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu has written to David Cameron asking him to give them the dignity they deserve. He said the torture victims should be shown 'magnanimity and compassion' because of what they have suffered.
