The Heavenly Man

'The true story of how God took a young, half-starved boy from a poor village in Henan Province, China, and used him to preach the gospel despite intense persecution.'
What struck me most about this book was Brother Yun's insatiable hunger for the word of God. Despite being persecuted and tortured for his faith, he is sustained by scripture. It also provides an interesting insight into the Chinese churches, and describes incredible miracles. A real faith-booster, I'd highly recommend it.
